Lost media

Daniele Arcangeli is an Italian creator who makes lost media that never existed. Since December 2024, on Instagram as @_danielearcangeli (110K followers) and under the name Nasty Plot, an 80s and 90s nostalgia and lost media archive, Daniele has reimagined pop culture franchises such as Pokémon, Dragon Ball, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Studio Ghibli and Stranger Things as recovered VHS tapes and worn 16mm reels from the 1950s to the 1990s: fictional found footage with an analog horror edge, where the bright worlds of childhood turn eerie, mysterious or tragic.
